LITTLE CRAFT: Cereal Box Purse ~ Valentine Box

Cereal Box Purse - Valentine's Day Child Tote via homework (3)This is a sponsored post for which I received product and compensation. All opinions are mine.

Do you have a little one? Specifically a little girl? You can easily make this fun Valentine’s Day Card Holder with a cereal box like I did for Valentine’s Day with Plaid Crafts.

Cereal Box Purse - Valentine's Day Child Tote via homework (2)Your little one can head to school carrying a cute fashionable purse and store all the Valentine cards (and candy) that she receives in it. This was a fun project that your little one can help with. Want to make one?

Cereal Box Purse - Valentine's Day Child Tote Tutorial via homeworkStart with an empty cereal box and cut the top part off to the size you desire. Choose the paper you want to wrap your box in. You can use wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, or anything you have on hand. Trace around your box on the paper so that the paper will cover the bottom, one flat side and the sides. Make two of these. Adhere the paper to the box with Mod Podge and let dry.

Once your base color is dry, use a 1 inch circle punch and punch out several buttons. Add decorative touches to the buttons using the paint colors.
