ETCETERAS: Thought Bubble Bulletin Board

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (1)As part of the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Wall Art Challenge I came up with this fun Thought Bubble Bulletin Board. The bulletin board is a fabric covered foam sheet and it was super easy to cut out and create.

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (2)You can create any shape or cut out using the FloraCraft® StyroCutter® Plus tool. It’s a little wand that heats up and cuts through the foam like butter. To make a thought bubble you’ll need sheets of FloraCraft Foam, the StyroCutter® Plus tool, fabric and glue. Start by drawing your shape on the foam.

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (5)You can glue or pin the fabric to backside of your shape. I used a low temperature glue gun (hot temp glue will melt the foam).

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (6)For this Thought Bubble, I cut four ovals. Once they were covered in the fabric, I glued them together,

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (8)Personalize your bulletin board with different “thoughts”. I made this one for my son’s room and added some fun items. Yes, that a  photo of him jumping off a cliff. What’s that parental saying, “If your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?” Oh, the irony!

Flora Craft Thought Bubble Pinboard - homework (1)I love how this turned out. My son is older but wouldn’t it be cute in a little boy’s room. Or a pink one for a little girl. With the FloraCraft® StyroCutter® Plus, you can cut out any shape and make fun wall art. You’ll find more project inspiration at the Make It: Fun website.
