FRIDAY: High Five

It’s Friday – time for this week’s Friday High Five. What have you been high-fiving about this week? Christmas prep, holiday cards, or maybe just surviving the week is enough to high five about. I have to say, today is especially sweet because I’m taking a staycation next week. Yessiree, I’m taking the week off to do all things holiday prep related. Wish me luck, I have 7 days to shop, create and mail cards, ship gifts, bake, decorate and make handmade gift items. Piece of cake! Enjoy the weekend friends and take a stroll through my high five items for this past week.

IMG_2686I made this Goat Cheese, pistachio and honey drizzle appetizer for Thanksgiving and it was a hit as usual. Super simple but looks so fancy.

BootsIt’s finally chilly here in Southern California and I’ve even worn my new suede boots. I love these. Super comfortable and warm. There are the Bandolino Bacia Tassle Dress Boots.

IMG_2671-001I made my annual Cranberry Conserve (recipe coming soon) for Thanksgiving and I think I want to string yards and yards of cranberries for the tree this year.

This stuff is amazing!! My husband gave me a gift card to Fresh. They carry their own line of beauty products and I splurged and got this night treatment mask. It’s a tad expensive so I only use it once a week. The next morning my skin is so much softer it’s amazing. I just found out that Sephora carries this brand.

IMG_2687I did manage to get my dining room hutch decorated for the holidays. Here’s  little peek. I’ll be sharing my dining room and hutch soon.

High Five everyone! It’s Friday and it’s that magical time of year.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
