I just love this little metal vintage wagon. I’ve had it for nearly 30 years! The little wheels actually turn and it’s so well made.

I’ve use it as an ornament and as a holiday knick knack but I think this is by far my favorite spin using this wagon.

Tiny little branches cut down into miniature logs, a sprig of Rosemary and a simple tag is all you need to put together some fun place cards for your holiday table.

I had a lot of fun creating back drops for this wagon so excuse the multiple photos of the same thing. I couldn’t decide which was my favorite so I’m sharing all of them.

These little village tins look so cute with the wagon parked outside.

Or, a fuzzy sheep and snow ball of yarn.

Little trees and a vintage Santa create a little Santa’s Village.

But back to reality… I’ll be using these as place cards. I think I have a few more of these wagons and if I don’t have enough for everyone at the table, I’ll alternate them with another type of place card. I have some vintage tart tins that I could fill with miniature pine cones that would work and round out the table.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Those are adorable. Cute idea!

Carolyn, these are fantastic. I love the vintage wagons and how you scaled down the logs and trees. So very clever. And your photographs are lovely. Thanks for inspiring me to look at an item designed for one purpose and seeing other wonderful possibilities.
