Etceteras: golden eggs

Add a touch of elegance to your décor with golden eggs.

These eggs started out as regular plastic Easter eggs. I gave them several coats of gold spray paint. Added some organza ribbon and topped them with a silk flower.

Use them as place cards by simply adding a tag or nameplate tucked into the ribbon. Or, display them on candleholders, champagne flutes or vases as I did for a centerpiece.

I love the pastels of spring but a little touch of elegance is a nice break.
