Celebrations: fourth of july rocket favors

Are you ready to celebrate the Fourth of July? If you’re having a back yard barbeque or get together to watch fireworks, these rockets would be a fun party favor.

To make these rockets, cut a paper towel roll or wrapping paper roll into 4 inch lengths. Wrap tissue paper around the roll and secure with tape. Cover the tissue paper with blue paper and use a glue stick to hold down the edge.

Cut a 2 inch circle and cut half way through the diameter to make the cone. Overlap the edges and use your glue stick to secure. Glue the cone to the top of the tube. Fill your rockets with confetti or candy, insert a bamboo skewer and tie the tissue paper with twine.

Add a fun label - I used lyrics from the Katy Perry song “Firework”.

Once you're done, sit back and get ready to watch the fireworks.
