The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~40~

Just looking at all the projects linked up this week on the Inspiration Board made me smile. Everything is so bright and cheery. Thank you to everyone who came to visit or linked up a project. I’m so appreciative to be on your link party list.

Here are few projects in the spotlight this week.

A gorgeous spring wreath by Ivalex. Paper towels colored with watered down ink and made into delicate flowers. I’m working on something very similar and can’t wait to share.

I love this vintage cupcake birthday party by One Thrifty Chick. There are so many sweet details especially the aprons hanging from each chair that each guest received. Click over to see all the party elements.

Pieced Pastimes found inspiration from a ruffled drop cloth wreath created by Jones Design Company. I’m a big fan of Jones Design Company but Pieced Pastimes gets my vote on this one.

According to Design, Dining and Diapers, she got these Goodwill chairs for $1.30. I must be shopping at the wrong Goodwill stores because I’ve never run across chairs for that price. With a coat of paint and beautiful typography fabric they look like a million bucks!

Bright and cheerful sprocket pillows by Honesty Dyea. I love the vintage feel of the fabrics and yet the pillows have such a clean and fresh feel to them.

Wow. You have to see the before picture of this dresser. The once all-over orangey brown wood was transformed into a graphite and white beauty. I can’t imagine painting all the scroll work but Sky Blu Pink did an amazing job.

papervinenz.blogspot.com
A sweet, sweet mini album by Paper Vinenz. Using one sheet of paper the end result is about 2” x 2.5”. I love teeny tiny things and this is adorable.

This is going on my project list for sure. These crockpot lotion bars by Miss Information would make great gifts or a great way to pamper yourself.

A great mud room makeover by Life on Walnut Street but it’s this vintage ladder that steals the show.

I am almost speechless over this appliqued rainbow ruffle duvet by My Beautiful Mess. You have to click over to see the beautiful fabrics that make up the rainbow and the pretty applique work at the top of the cover. Amazing!

Aren’t these just the cutest little dolls ever? Peaches and Bees celebrates Girls Festival Day in Japan with these little hina dolls. Girls Festival Day is a day to wish for good health and happiness which I wish to all of you.
