Happy Friday. I’m back from traveling and trying to get caught up. It’s good to be back looking at all the inspiring projects and working on a few of my own. Thank you to everyone who shared a project on the Inspiration Board this week. The board was filled with bursts of color - so cheery to come home to!
Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.
Summer, beach outings, driftwood, sailing… put it all together like Alderberry Hill did and make a darling driftwood boat.
Wedding season is in full swing. This bridal ruffle cuff by One Perfect Day is so romantic and pretty.
One of the most unique little projects I’ve ever seen. Saraccino created a little shrimp out of a bendy straw. Adorable!
Cherished Bliss made the cutest little toddler tote. The little pink whale looks perfectly content riding those giant ric rac waves.
Who doesn’t love the Beatles? Just a Little Creativity pays homage to all the great Beatles hits with this dresser makeover for her teenage child.
The pallet projects are still hot, hot, hot! Live, Laugh Rowe created a fabulous serving tray from a pallet. I have got to find a pallet so I can start making some of these great projects.
Two other hot trends are chevron patterns and monograms. Hey Little Mother combines both with this pretty coordinated wall hanging.
Monster Circus made these trivets from gray tiles, copper spray paint and wire. I love the clean and modern look.
The Concrete Cottage made the sweetest cheese board cloche out of a 70’s looking thrift shop find. A complete transformation.
A beautiful rosette cake by Life’s Creative Journey. The frosting looks so light and airy – almost too pretty to cut into… I said almost.
