Inkling: owl lovers calendar

I’m really excited to once again share with you the Owl Lovers Calendar. This is the third year that I’ve shared this special project and every year, it gets better and better.

The Owl Lover Calendar is from Shivani of My Owl Barn – a site dedicated to owl lovers. Since Shivani has said it best, here is her description of the Owl Lovers Calendar.

Owl Lover 2013 is a collaborative project between My Owl Barn and over 40 artists from all over the globe who make this project unique on the net and has created a community of like minded people who admire art.
I am beyond excited and proud to present to you our third Owl Lover calendar filled to the brim with gorgeous artwork by well-known artists like Jo James, Wee Gallery, Donna McKenzie, Juliette Crane and Nathan Jurevicius to name a few. The artwork (and hard work!) by all these amazing people makes this calendar a perfect Christmas gift to your family and friends or even a gift to yourself!
The calendar is completely customizable; you can select the images for all the months you want to print and create your own free calendar or you can simply download the pre-made version.

Here’s how it works. There are over 40 owl images to choose from. You simply select the month from the drop down menu and create your calendar.

This year, I'm using one of the branches from my dearly departed white birch to hang the calendar.

I used tiny little nails that I painted gold to hang 3-months at a time.

Here are some of the owls that I chose.

I always like to print out my calendar on watercolor paper. I love the texture that it gives each illustration.

Thank you to My Owl Barn and all the contributing artists for sharing your talents with the world.
