A sincere thank you to everyone who shared their projects on the Inspiration Board this week. I was amazed at all the beautiful projects. Here are a few in the spotlight this week with a focus on light touches of fall.
Meeha Meeha shares pretty autumn gift wrap using seabuckthorn. Seabuckthorn is common in the forests of Romania and I’m so happy that she shared this and introduced me to this beautiful berry.
Lemon and Lime Thyme shares her recipe for apple bread. Gorgeous photography and styling adds a wonderful fall feel and you can almost smell the apples, nuts and spices.
Moore Minutes took time to take an autumn road trip to the forest for a beautiful picnic. Besides the beautiful scenery, the crisp season and food, they enjoyed the time spent together.
This Mexican Goulash by Growing in Grace looks so warm and comforting. It’s a one-pot recipe using canned ingredients. Perfect for a busy day and chilly night.
If you want to keep the pumpkin flavor going all season, whip up a batch of this Pumpkin Pie Syrup. Perfect for pancakes or other breakfast goodies. Family Home and Life shares the recipe and a cute printable tag.
Krafty Kat uses real natural cotton branches and bolls to make a beautiful wreath. I’m fascinated with these little bursts of cotton that are a common site in Krafty Kat’s southern area. It’s amazing to think that a cotton t-shirt began as a small cotton boll.
Live Laugh Rowe teamed up with Tidy Mom to make and package homemade vanilla extract. Homemade vanilla would be a wonderful holiday gift and if you start now. The vanilla would be ready just in time. Click over for the recipe link and beautiful printable labels.
Another wonderful pallet upcycle. Domestic Superhero turned a pallet into a tufted ottoman and used beautiful ikat fabric to top it all off. Read her story about how she wrangled the pallet on top of her car. You may or may not be able to relate to this type of determination… I know I can.
What a fun table. Forever Decorating let some of the original wood show through with these playful stripes. I love the slight distressing and pretty Annie Sloane paint colors.
I love sock monsters and this little guy by Hubby Made Me is so so cute. The simple face, colors and silly expression make him super cuddly.
