I’m hosting Thanksgiving so I can’t start on holiday décor until the stuffing is packed up in Tupperware and the dishes are done. How about you? Are you ready for the next month of madness? I’m going to really try to slow down, enjoy and not get stressed. Who’s with me?
As we ponder on that, here are some of the beautiful projects in the spotlight this week.
Furry baby booties! Crochet Dreamz used eyelash yarn to create a faux fur embellishment on these adorable baby booties. Dress them up or dress them down – any baby will be styling in these booties.
What a sweet camera case by Ana Love Craft handmade for her husband. The fabric shows a favorite location and the ring to hold the flash drives is so smart because if you’ve ever lost one, you know how heartbreaking it can be. Hurray for cute organization.
Beautiful primitive soft sculpture by Thimbles Bobbins Paper and Ink. So much expression on this little sheep’s face.
These buttermilk sponge cupcakes topped with butterflies are ready to flitter away. Better eat them quickly before they do. Blue Butterfly Butter Buns by Lemon & Lime Thyme.
As we are preparing for the holidays and cold weather, it’s summer in New Zealand. North Shore Days made these delicate sea glass earrings to celebrate summer and beach filled days. Kinda jealous…
Design Dining and Diapers redid her master bedroom on a budget. The show stopper is the faux deer taking center stage. The gold accents were achieved through a diyers best friend – spray paint - and the stenciled wall is amazing.
Wow! Inspired by a very pricey Neiman Marcus tree skirt, Purple Hues and Me created her own using fleece. There is a lot of work in this tree skirt but I’m sure it will be a treasured keepsake for many many years.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, Crystelle Boutique shares her cranberry sauce / jam recipe. This one is making a debut at my Thanksgiving table this year.
Semi Homemade Mom brings us an easy lasagna soup recipe. What a great idea. We love lasagna but it’s time consuming to make. This is a great alternative for a busy night or any night dinner.
This is one of my favorite projects that has come from the talented Bev at Flamingo Toes. Anthro inspired sparkled silk wrap bracelet that is just so darn pretty. Yoo hoo Bev – are you my secret santa??
Will Cook For Smiles made her own Starbucks fancy coffee at home complete with frothy goodness and a chocolate shaving heart. And I Spy cinnamon rolls in the back.
