WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Back to School Ideas

TGIF friends! It’s the last Friday of the August and for many of you, your kids already headed back to school. My son starts back on Monday and my social media streams are full of photos & posts of the first day of school – from the first day of Kindergarten all the way college move in day. I thought I’d stroll through my archives and reshare some ideas that you can use as your kids head back to school or throughout the school year.

US Map Oh the Places We'll Go - homework (2)[7]Having a map handy is such a great way to remember where all the states are and using the map to pin places you’ve been is a fun family activity.

Have you stocked up on #2 Pencils this year. My son will only use Ticonderoga pencils and I have to admit, they are the best pencils in our opinion. Corral all the pencils with these fun pencil can ideas, add some tape strip name labels or jazz them up Anthro style.

Notebooks are my thing! I love them - I love to make them, buy them and then hoard them. I can’t seem to have enough notebooks.

Tending to boos boos, aches and pains are just part of motherhood. Here are some of my favorite DIY Mom First Aid ideas.

School time means busy time. Carpool, school meetings, volunteer work, homework, sports and more leave little time in the kitchen. These snack and fast dinner ideas are kid friendly and quick. For more recipe ideas, check out the Goodie Bag tab at the top of the page.
