The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight

I’m so thrilled with the turnout at my first link party. A big thank you to everyone who linked up a project. All of the projects were amazing and wonderfully inspirational. Here are a few that I’m spotlighting this week.

These cupcakes from Nothing but Country are just so cute. Perfect for Father’s Day or a birthday party. Or for no reason at all but just to make super fun cupcakes.
Inspiration: fun

Shabby French Cottage created an outdoor elegant barbeque setting. The details are amazing. Several tables set with wonderful place settings, server ware and centerpieces.

I’m a big fan of composting. We started composting when my son composted for his Science Fair experiment (and he won First Place). Rental Redux shows us how to make an easy compost bin.

The colors of this project popped off the page at me. One Perfect Day made a special little girl a beautiful birthday gift. A pouch and organza flower using a vibrant mix of honeysuckle, rose and flame colors. Beautiful.

I love this project from Jenni Horne Studios. A sweet bird perched in hoops and adored with bits of ribbon. You can’t see the felt tag in this photo but it says “you grew in my heart”.

Thank you again to everyone who linked up. Please come back next week for another link party. Link parties will be held every Tuesday.

  1. All so beautiful! I considered linking, but quite honestly, I am not a very elegant old girl. I love creating and decorating, I just don't have the eye for things the way you (and OBVIOUSLY a lot of your lovely readers) do! So I will just march myself right over HERE & enjoy seeing YOUR pretties!

  2. I'm so thrilled to be here, in this beautiful blog and with such wonderful company!
Thank you Carolyn for including my organza flower brooch!
    Have a great weekend.

  3. great picks carolyn... love that you are throwing a party!!! m

  4. I saw those cupcakes and thought a pretzel stick would be perfect for the pole! :)
