Thank you to everyone who came by to visit or shared a project on the Inspiration Board. With so many link parties available, I honored that I’m on your party list. There were so many beautiful projects on the board this week. What’s trending now? Cherry blossoms, lavender, organization, gardening and graduation. Here are the projects in the spotlight this week.
How brilliant is this? Make a chandelier out of wire hangers by Nifty Thrifty Things. And not just brilliant, it’s so pretty and feminine.
Darling cherry blossom cupcakes by Sugar Swings. The cherry blossom flowers are made out of… wait for it… vanilla tootsie rolls. I love this idea – my mind is spinning with possibilities.
Did you know you can use freezer paper to make your own stencils? Twigg Studios raises the bar on custom stencil work with this beautifully intricate stencil pattern. And then takes it to another level be making a little purse out of the fabric.
Sweet lavender sachets by Woven Home. The monogram and needle work were done on a sewing machine. It’s amazing what sewing machines can do these days.
Grow Creative used a stencil to create this water color painting. How fun would it be to make several of these, frame them and create a wall collage.
I’m in awe of this farmhouse table and bench. Domestic Imperfection used an online tutorial and finished this in three days. Did I mention I’m in awe?
This is some serious yumminess. Butter, sugar, coconut – oh my. My Predilections shares her family coconut pound cake recipe. She says it’s “moist, rich, dense and delicious” and I believe it. Pure torture staring at this photo – I would love a piece right now.
I love this project by Meaningful Mama. Mama and kids gathered flowers and created fairies together. Sometimes the best projects are those created with love.
A light and bright sun room complete with this shabby chic cabinet. Fox Hollow Cottage adds the perfect touch with these one-of-a-kind treasured décor pieces.
Graduation season is just around the corner and Celebrations at Home shows us a great graduation party idea. This party is centered around the theme “keys to success” for a college grad but the pretty details can be modified for any age graduate.
