Good Taste: Quaker Soft Baked Bars

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love to bake but life gets super busy and it seems to be I have less and less time to make homemade goodies. My teenage son also plays sports year round and he seems to always be starving.

When I received two boxes of Quaker Soft Baked Bar to try out I couldn't be happier. You'll note that in the above photo the Cinnamon Pecan Bread box has been opened. That's my family for you  - I told them not to open the boxes until I took some pictures and then I'd let them taste the bars and tell me which one they liked better. Of course they weren't listening and opened a box.

Oh well, the point is that they enjoyed the Quaker Soft Baked Bar. They were soft, yummy and filling.  I mean how can you not trust that guy in the hat? We've been eating his oatmeal and other products for years.

This new snack bar from Quaker is made with real fruits and nuts. Sounds like real wholesome food to me and perfect to put in my son's sports bag or warm up in the microwave for a breakfast snack. It comes in two flavors -  Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread.

Here's the lowdown:

• 140 calories
• 5g of Fiber
• 6g of Protein
• Excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins

This was my family's favorite. The Cinnamon Pecan Bread bars. I shared some of the bars with my parents too. They liked the Banana Nut Bread bars. Perfect - a flavor for everyone.

I'll definitely be bringing along Quaker Soft Baked Bars to my son's sports tournaments. I always like to bring extra for his teamates. Did I mention that teenage boys are always hungry?

Thanks for visiting.
