The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~52~

One year of shared inspiration – I can’t believe this week's link party was the 52nd Inspiration Board. Thank you so much for stopping by, commenting, linking and partying with me. I truly appreciate it. As always, the projects were amazing.

Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

IMG_8213.jpg.scaled1000Summer is just about here but it can still get chilly. Elisabeth Andree solves the problem with this pretty lacy sleeve shawl. Just enough to cover your arms and still look summery.

Ribs12Nothing says barbeque more to me than ribs and corn on the cob. Now Things are Cooking shares her secrets to moist not overly cooked ribs. A bonus homemade barbeque sauce recipe is included on her post.

type_case5-399x600What would you do if you were lucky enough to find a vintage type case at a flea market? Nifty Thrifty Things showcases her treasured find by using it to store spools of thread. I think every design / craft room needs a vintage type case!

P5271283An adorable birthday countdown for a sweet three-year old by Sew Fantastic. The holder is a muffin tin and the paper covers are held on by little magnets. Little daily treats are inside each spot. Sweet!

now servingCoffee nesting tables by The Humble Nest. I love the hand painted vintage coffee graphics and distressed paint finish. Perfect for that morning cup of coffee.

DSC_0244These ice cream sandwiches would make any kid [and me] scream for ice cream. Chocolate Chip Cookies, strawberry ice cream and confetti sprinkles = fun yum. From a Pumpkin and a Princess.

painted pillow - final 1Bliss Bloom Blog used press n seal freezer paper [different than regular freezer paper] to create a reusable stencil to make this pretty pillow. Check out how to use this grocery store item to make your own stencils.

FireStation1As a mom of a boy, I absolutely love this boy '”dollhouse”. Repeat Crafter Me uses a bookshelf to make a fun firehouse play station for her boys.

Features 52-001
Two great summer veggie dishes.
Left: Cold Bean Salad in a jar from Homespun with Love. Bean salad is a popular barbeque and summer picnic item. And everything tastes better served in a mason jar!
Right: Ratatouille by The Letter 4. What a great dish to use the bounty of veggies available this time of year.

IMG_0934aPeaches and Bees floors me with her adorable sewing creations and even more adorable little model. This little pink gingham gauze dress is too cute for words.
