The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~54~

Happy Friday everyone! Another wonderful week on The Inspiration Board has come and gone. This link party may not be the biggest party around blogland but it certainly is brimming with creativity!

Thank you so much for stopping by, commenting, linking and partying with me. I truly appreciate it.

Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

From plain Dollar Store tote bags to these beautiful pillows. Lucy from Craftberry Bush amazes again with her ingenuity and artistic ability. And check it out – these are no-sew pillows.

The title of the project is Lazy Girl Tiling and Domestic Imperfection had me at “lazy”. I love the shortcut tips like; no mortar, pre-mixed grout and the funny “use your hand to smear on the grout” technique.

Mango Lemonade Pops
Time to chill out! These Mango Lemonade Pops from Silver Boxes look absolutely delicious and refreshing. A great way to get your kids to try a new fruit or eat more fruit.

diy pouf
I love this pouf by A Cream to my Coffee – it’s so poufy! Perfect for an ottoman or with different fabric choices you could make fun poufs for your kids – or even your cat!

I think I could live on pasta for the rest of my life. So I’m always on the hunt for a new pasta recipe. Feeding my Temple brings us Ravioli with Browned Butter Balsamic Sauce. Yes please  - pass the parmesan.

The Olympics are coming! What a great idea to host an Olympic Opening Ceremonies Viewing Party. Jacolyn Murphy made up these darling invitations and added her special creative touch using Fruit Loops for the Olympic Rings!

GiftWrap_1
Someday I’ll be this organized. Or maybe not. Repeat Crafter Me made a Gift Wrap Station that keeps everything in its place. It’s such a great feeling to get a little piece of your world tidy and organized and this is giving me serious organization envy.

Features 54-001
Two darling kids outfits.

Top:  Wee Share made a Cascading Ruffle Skirt from old t-shirts. What a great way to upcycle old t-shirts and the finished skirts is so twirlably adorable.

Bottom: Uncommon turned a plain onsie into a rockin gift. An appliqued drum set makes this the perfect gift to welcome the new baby of her drum teacher.

Decorating a bedroom (12)
Live Love DIY shows off her decorating style with her beautiful white on white bedroom. There are so many pretty details to look at. I could gaze at this all day.

05_american-birdhouse
I missed Flag Day yesterday but Our House of Joyful Noise was ahead of the curve with this cute painted Birdhouse. A perfect bit of Americana décor to keep up all summer.
