Thank you to everyone who visiting, commented or linked up this week. I so appreciate it and I’m always amazed that you stop by my little corner of the blog world.
We had a cold snap here in Southern California. Now, if you live somewhere where it really gets cold, you’re probably laughing at me right now. The days dipped down to the mid-50’s and the nights got below 40 degrees. Brrrrr. We or at least I am not equipped for cold weather – I don’t have a lot of cold weather clothes, shoes or accessories. Thankfully it’s starting to get back to normal temperatures here – mid 60’s and sunny in the day.
So while I turn up the heat and thaw out, please enjoy these wonderful projects in the spotlight this week.

The most adorable heart in hand gloves by
Bliss Bloom {blog}. I need these (see my cold snap commentary above). A great gift idea for the holidays and Valentine’s Day.

A cozy family room renovation by
Living my Life on Purpose. Comfortable and functional for a family with small kids. Dark furniture that’s kid proof, a gallery wall that speaks for itself and a chalkboard door to the garage for notes and reminders.

Got grapefruit? Whip up some grapefruit sugar, bath salts or rosemary salt.
JacolynMurphy shows us how and as always presents her goodies so beautifully.
Polish the Stars created a recipe card holder out of cutlery that is so whimsical and fun. A great idea that can be adapted for business cards, notes, or photos.

Check out this amazing dollhouse from
Todd & Lindsey. The dollhouse was originally a childhood gift that was never constructed… until now. Darling unique touches like the moss and a handmade plant make it one-of-a-kind.

I’m hungry and this picture is making me even hungrier.
My Turn for Us share a Mexican Breakfast Casserole that looks so yummy.

I haven’t sewn clothes in years so I had no idea that there are patterns available for cute things like leggings.
Etcetorize made these cozy leggings out of the cutest snowflake and deer knit. Love them and want to make them!

How inviting is this sweet afternoon break from
Bear Rabbit Bear? Brownies and milk {and coffee} make for a memorable afternoon.

Two beautiful birthday cakes. Left:
Growing in Grace made an elaborate sheet cake and special mini cake just for the birthday girl. Loads of buttercream flowers make it so pretty. Right:
Max and Me shared an Under the Sea birthday and the cake is stunning. Covered in frosting fish scales it’s a work of art.
Petite Passions shares an edible gift idea. A Vanilla Mango Apricot spread that can be used as an ice cream topper, mixed with balsamic vinegar for a salad dressing and more. Looks delicious.
