Oh my goodness, The Inspiration Board was brimming with love this week. Valentine’s Day is such a special day to express love, it’s no wonder we all are inspired to create things for this special day. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity here – I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. If you didn’t get a chance to drop in this week, here’s what I shared.
Now on to the projects in the spotlight this week.
I am head over heels in love with this Valentine Candy Tackle box from
Shaken Together Life. It’s brilliant and adorable.

You pretty much have me when I see the words “Anthropologie Inspired” and these Pom Pom Pens by
The Casual Craftlete are no exception. Bright colors and pom poms just make me smile!

Crab Rangoon by
Scrapality. I love these bite-size morsels of heaven. Cream Cheese, green onions, crab, fried… enough said!

Sharpie mugs are so fun to make and these “how do you take your coffee” mugs by
Ode to Inspiration are so clever. What a great gift idea – so… hint, hint…mine would say “Cream and 2 sugars”.

These French word pillows by
Handmade by Is are so pretty. The words were traced onto the pillows with a fabric pen and then filled in. Tres chic!

A Valentine spin on the ever popular Ding Dong. These heart treats by Worth Pinning via
Tip Junkie are adorable.

I love the simplicity of these beautiful lace votives by
The DIY Dreamer. I like the less-is-more approach when using lace and these plain glass candle holders and candles look perfectly dressed up with the lace trim.
Kids Activities Blog shows us how to color spray using science. Permanent marker designs become a swirly tie-die when spritzed with rubbing alcohol. This would be a fun one if you’re cooped up because of the cold weather lately.
Adventures in DIY created the sweetest dog bed. I have to make one! Painted lines and a vintage dog biscuit graphic transform a drop cloth into a bed any dog would love.

If you’re making treats for your child to pass out at school, this Seeds of Friendship idea from
Rook No. 17 is a great idea. What a great way to express friendship. The free printable is available on her site.
