This project started off innocently enough. I bought this miniature cake stand and thought I’d add a bit of moss and eggs for spring. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

Isn’t the tiny cake stand cute? It’s cupcake size. This project took all of five minutes but then I got inspired.

And did this…

This will be my pre-spring décor. White on white with moss and fern accents.

I love how it turned out. It looks calming and peaceful to me.

In a few weeks, I’ll start adding little splashes of color. Yes, spring is almost here!
Thanks for visiting my little corner of the creative world.
Very pretty! And to these still-stuck-in-freezing-temperatures-eyes? VERY refreshing!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love the white and green combination. I need to go collect up some of my whites.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I'm glad I found your blog on the Project Inspired Linky!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn....this is something I LOVE!! Sweet...Simple...Natural! Are the ferns from your yard or from the market? We won't be seeing any ferns here for a few months unfortunately. They are a favorite of mine...especially seeing the in the fiddlehead state as they emerge to open.
ReplyDeleteHope your week is Extraordinary!
