The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~144~

We’re springing forward everyone. Well, not everyone – I don’t think everyone participates in the crazy change-your-clocks back and forth thing. For those that do, Daylight Savings time begins this weekend, which means longer daylight hours. Yay, more time for crafting or getting in that outdoor spray paint project before it gets dark.

I hope everyone is starting to see more spring-like weather. I know, I’ve been completely inspired and find myself drawn to dreamy pastel colors. In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I shared.

Plus, I have two giveaways currently open – click the links to enter:

Thank you to everyone who dropped by this week. I so appreciate all your comments and visits. A special thank you for those of you who shared your creativity on The Inspiration Board this week. The projects were amazing. Please enjoy the projects featured in the spotlight this week.

SAM_7155Gorgeous Floral Mini Cupcakes by Twigg Studios. You can’t tell by this photo how tiny these confections are. They’re even smaller than a mini cupcake and those sugared flowers are so pretty.

Doesn’t this dinner look wonderfully tasty and healthy? Doreen Grace shares a recipe for Chili Lime Tilapia that I’m adding to my recipe files.

IMG_2955aOkay, I admit it – I am green with envy over this lovely greenhouse from Penny’s Treasures. Birdcages, vintage goodies and baskets and that amazing potting table crated from vintage furniture. It’s all fantastic and I love it.

Shelves-1Artsyologist turned some old drawers into instant shelves. I love the knick knacks and violin case showcased in this shelf not to mention the beautiful Anthropologie wall paper.

brushetta1Mmmmm – I love bruschetta and Our Mini Family has me craving some. It’s so simple and fresh tasting and this bruschetta is presented so beautifully.

corned beef and cabbage set upJacOlyn Murphy has raised the bar for serving corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. But as she said, when you’re last name is Murphy it’s a must.

IKEA-worktop-stools-DIY-afterI adore this mini kitchen makeover by House of Hawkes. the clean simple furnishings and the sunlight streaming in the window. It all just makes me want to perch on one of those pretty painted stools.

6a0147e1dbad71970b01a73d80a95f970d-500wiOh, would I love a work table like this for my craft room. Chris W Designs transformed her space with a new cutting table and some organization. You have to see the before pictures to truly appreciate the transformation.

Cinnamon Flower Bread by Sabor Pastel. It’s gorgeous. I love cinnamon bread. I want some!!!

DSC_2656Wonderful pillows created on a snow day by Michelle Lea Designs. It’s amazing the difference these pillows made to this room. The on-trend colors and patterns look so crisp. But my favorite one is that burlap coffee sack pillow.
