The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~147~

Hello. Hello. Hello. I’m so happy it’s Friday, I had to say it three times. High fives everyone. We made it to the weekend. This week I was on the go with: work (the day job kind), major car repairs (boo), team mom duties and of course, crafty fun. Phew. How was your week? I hope it was filled with spring inspiration and sunshine. If you didn’t get a chance to pop in this week, here’s what I shared.

Enjoy these beautiful projects in the spotlight and I’ll see you back here on Monday.

Chandelier2Gorgeous tissue paper garland chandelier by Martinel. I love making tissue paper flower and this chandy bursting with blooms must have taken hours. Beautiful!

in a rowA fun way to make your own berry boxes. Sum of their Stories share a template and pretty way to embellish them with Washi tape. I can’t wait to make some.

vanilla frostingA super cute pin cushion by Thimbles Bobbins Paper and Ink. I love the bead sprinkles and those adorable candy pins.

1.1I thought I had discovered every possible way to decorate an Easter Egg but this is a new one for me. A fantastic method to dye eggs with old silk ties by It’s a Fabulous Life. The results are amazing!

retro Table1TArtsy Vava gives an old table a “new” retro look. Ha – that’s an oxymoron. This classic starburst retro pattern looks perfect on this table.

Bow Card 1It’s Always Ruetten treats us to another beautiful paper creation. Hello Spring is the perfect sentiment as we ease into blossoms and warm weather.

FlaskVases_sqHello perfect little bottles. A View from the Fridge knocked off Room and Boards Little Shirley Bottles and I love her inspired versions.

almond-trufflesWhen it comes to chocolate, my preference is dark chocolate. And truffles… enough said. All She Cooks tempts us with these Dark Chocolate Almond Truffles that have me gazing at the screen.

4What a fun file drawer transformation by Bugaboo Mini Mr. and Me. These 4-drawer filing cabinets are so handy in the office and given a little facelift with paint and chalkboard labels it looks fantastic.

IMGP4455Dixie Chik Cooks introduces us to her invention… Pachos. They’re like nachos but made with thinly sliced potatoes. Right there we’re off to a good start. What’s on top? Reuben sandwich fixings; corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and loads of Thousand Island dressing. Wow!
