This year I planned to go with neutrals for my fall color palette but this purple and orange burst of color happened accidentally.

It started with the purple hued succulent. I had been been planning on transplanting it from its small pot and decided to use the concrete gold leaf planter that I recently made.

From there the idea of purple and green started to take shape. Green pears and apples were always part of the plan and I even found one at the market with a leaf still attached.

Another favorite, sprigs of Rosemary. It smells wonderful and I love the natural touch it brings to a display.

While I was shopping, I found some potted fall flowers on sale and grabbed a few. Orange was never part of the plan. I’m usually not an orange girl even for Halloween.

I played around with the arrangement adding touches of purple and green but the orange flowers kept calling my name. I gave into the orange idea and used a gauze scarf to bring it all together.

I may get tired of the orange and just keep the green and purple but for now, I’m quite enjoying this happy burst of color. Imagine that?

My favorite part of the entire centerpiece is this pear. So perfectly imperfect.

And this crisp autumn leaf I found on my doorstep. The epitome of fall.

So there you have it – fall has finally arrived at my house and it brought a burst of orange to my table.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
