I know a lot of people file recipes electronically these days but I still love using my recipe box. Some of the recipes are handwritten by my mom and family friends.
I made three sets and will use them as gifts during the holidays. I may package them up with some embellished wooden spoons or maybe a pretty apron. Yup, I love old school when it comes to the kitchen.
To make these recipe cards, you’ll need a Lifestyle Crafts Evolution machine, the “Homemade” letterpress plate and the “Homemade” die which coordinates with the letterpress plate.
Simply die cut the recipe cards and then pick out a pretty ink color and letterpress them.
I made some in Teal Green, Gold and Navy. It’s hard to choose which look I like best.
Another gift idea? Package up the recipe cards with one handwritten card and some homemade goodies.
If you’re interested in purchasing any of the Lifestyle Crafts or We R Memory Keepers items, you can you use promo code HOMEWORK for 20% off! Woot!
Thank you so much for stopping by.
P.S.
You're right. Old school for kitchens (or eerything in the home) is much better & these cards look awesome.
