CELEBRATIONS: Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece

This year I planned to go with neutrals for my fall color palette but this purple and orange burst of color happened accidentally.




Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece via homework | carolynshomework.comIt started with the purple hued succulent. I had been been planning on transplanting it from its small pot and decided to use the concrete gold leaf planter that I recently made.


Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece via homework | carolynshomework.comFrom there the idea of purple and green started to take shape. Green pears and apples were always part of the plan and I even found one at the market with a leaf still attached.


Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece via homework | carolynshomework.comAnother favorite, sprigs of Rosemary. It smells wonderful and I love the natural touch it brings to a display.


Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece via homework | carolynshomework.comWhile I was shopping, I found some potted fall flowers on sale and grabbed a few. Orange was never part of the plan. I’m usually not an orange girl even for Halloween.


Purple & Orange Fall Centerpiece via homework | carolynshomework.comI played around with the arrangement adding touches of purple and green but the orange flowers kept calling my name. I gave into the orange idea and used a gauze scarf to bring it all together.
