Celebrations: sparkle & glitter with Tulip Shimmer

It’s that glittery time of year. I’m usually not a sparkle and glitter type of person – except around the holidays. Then I love the look of silver, white and iridescent glitter.

Glitter 12So the timing was perfect to try out the Tulip Shimmer products. Tulip has a wide variety of glittery goodness. Shimmer Sheets, Glitter Paint, Crystal Stickers, and glitter, glitter, glitter.

I decorated some silver bells with white glitter and used the crystal stickers to create even more sparkle on the bells and strings.

And this pretty bird got a dusting of iridescent glitter.

I put it all together to create a Christmas ornament that hangs from a twig. A clothespin is glued to the back of the twig to secure it to our Christmas tree.

And since I don’t have a tree yet, I tested it out on this outdoor tree. I love how the glitter looks even more iridescent in the sun.

I wanted to try out some of the other Tulip products so this bell got the silver glitter treatment. The snowflakes were created from the Tulip Shimmer Sheets. These are iron on transfer sheets that you can cut and iron on to fabric.

I loved kicking off the holiday season with the Tulip Shimmer products. For more information about Tulip Shimmer products you can click on the links below.

  9. I like how you put a bird nest in a crystal candle holder. How imaginative! I've got a dozen or so of my mom's candle holders - and never use them! This might be just the thing. Thank you so much for always sharing your creative touches :)
