Accessories: Crystal and Bugle Bead Bracelet

Bugle Bead Bracelet via homework (9)When it comes to jewelry, I’m definitely a bracelet girl. Some people look great in big statement necklaces, fun earrings or blingy rings. But I love bracelets. I like to layer them and wear several at once – bangles, beads, stones – you name it.

Bugle Bead Bracelet via homework (2)And bracelets are easy to make. One of the easiest ways to make a bracelet is with stretch elastic cording. You could make an armful using any type of bead or stone and keep piling them on your wrist.
Bugle Bead Bracelet via homework (5)For this bracelet, I decided to use a toggle clasp. It will keep the small bugle bead strands from getting tangled and gives the bracelet a more finished look.
Bugle Bead Bracelet via homework (4)Start by creating your strands of beads. I decided on fifteen strands – five for each loop on the clasp. I strung the bugle beads and added one firefly crystal bead to each strand staggering the placement of them.
Bugle Bead Bracelet via homework (8)The Firefly Crystal Beads are so pretty. They’re a rich purple, pink, fuchsia color with a little swirl of moss green in them. I love how they look with the silvery white bugle beads. Here’s a list of the materials that I used for this bracelet:
White Spiral Pipe Glass Beads 2mm*6mm from Wholeport  |  6mm Firefly Crystal Natural Beads from Wholeport  |  Toggle Clasp from Tori Spelling Jewelry

And that’s it. This bracelet is ready to wear.

I received complimentary products from Wholeport to create this project. No further compensation was received. All opinions are mine.
