Can you believe it’s August? It seems like summer just got started and then, whooosh, it’s August. Time sure flies when you’re having fun. In case you didn’t have a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I shared here on homework.

Saraccino shared these fun embroidery thread wrapped earrings. Such a great idea to dress up cheap earrings and customize them with whatever color you want.

What a sweet baby gift to make for a friend. A fabric baby book by Little Ladybird with bright and colorful fabric cutouts for a little one to touch, see and gaze at.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of fun restyled globe projects. This one, by Endlessly Inspired is my favorite. The message of Peace on Earth is just so appropriate to put on a globe.

An adorable nautical craft by Spoonful Crafts. Add some fabric and trim to driftwood, a rock, and a stick and you have an adorable sailboat.

Persia Lou shares her bathroom cabinet updates. This is the look I’m thinking about for my bathroom. Dark stain with a clean white counter and interesting tile on the floor. It’s amazing what a difference the stain makes.

Making homemade treats for our families is tastier, more budget friendly and healthier (and that includes our furry family members.) Linley House made these homemade puppy treats that look fresh and flavorful. And I love the paw print on each treat.

These look so refreshing and perfect for a hot August day. Mocktails by Los Dos Aikos with fruit cubes that melt into the drink making them even yummier.

A fantastic idea to showcase groomsmen gifts at a rehearsal dinner, party or at the wedding. Neckties rolled up and displayed on a large chessboard. Such a fun and unique idea by Bellenza.
