Have you heard of Project Life? It’s an amazing scrapbooking product that has great design elements but goes back to basics in how you create and assemble your scrapbook.
Here’s how Project Life looks when you use all the elements. All you do is slip in your photos and the kit cards into the pre-sized sleeves. You can add your own notes, dates and comments. You don’t need to cut anything or use glue or tape. It’s scrapbooking made super simple but with a clean, fun and new look.
If you just want to use the cards or have extra cards leftover from your album, you can use them for other projects.
I have several old photo albums. Some of them are small mini albums like this one that’s filled with photos from a special vacation for my parents’ 50th anniversary. Like so many of my old albums, I just slipped the photos into the sleeves and tucked the album away.
Enter my new Project Life Vintage Travel Core Kit cards. I love the colors – dark blues, reds and browns with great graphics of trains, airplanes, maps and other travel related designs. Fun!
In some cases, I used snippets of the cards to work with my photos. I love looking at these photos from several years ago. I wonder what happened to that hat I was wearing? And why am I crouched down on the walkway? Had I collapsed from too much shopping? See, with Project Life, I could have written in exactly what we were doing and I wouldn't be trying to remember.
I love the Project Life line. My goal is to redo some of my larger photo albums with their albums and sleeves.
For more information about Project Life visit their website. To purchase Project Life, Michaels carries one of the largest selections of Project Life, plus, the two new Project Life designs - The Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic Core Kit which features light blues, pinks, greens, yellows and airy neutrals with pretty birds, trees, foxes, houses, keys and clipboards. Or, the line I’m showing here, The Vintage Travel Core Kit.
Thanks for visiting.
