I have such a treat for you today. Last year, I was first introduced to Novica and shared a review and giveaway here on homework. You can read it here. I’m happy to once again be able to share this wonderful site with you and host another giveaway on behalf of Novica and their many artisans.
The beautiful gold and green crystal bracelet on the left is what I reviewed last year. This year I chose a sky and sea blue palette and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’m also giving away a gift certificate to Novica so one lucky winner will get to explore the many beautiful treasures on the Novica site.
If you aren’t familiar with Novica, let me tell you a little about them. Novica, in association with National Geographic works with 1000’s of artists from around the world. What sets them apart is their mission to tell each artist’s story and their distribution. Novica doesn’t warehouse all the goods. The products are shipped directly from the country of origin and arrive beautifully wrapped with an exotic postmark and handwritten postcard from the artist.
Here are how my packages arrived. I ordered a sky blue gauze scarf called “Guatemalan Sky”from an artist in Guatemala and a sea blue natural stone beaded bracelet called “Wonders” from from an artist in Brazil. The artists handwrote notes on the postcards and the little booklet tells their stories.
With each purchase, you get a stamp on your own personal passport. I have three stamps so far. So fun and exciting. The stamps also qualify you for discounts.
I love the items I chose. The Wonders Beaded Bracelet is stunning and the Guatemalan Sky Scarf is soft, light and the most beautiful shade of blue.
I was able to purchase both of these items with a $50 gift certificate. And I can’t wait to share this shopping experience with one of you! Novica is generously giving away a $50 gift certificate to one lucky reader. You can enter below using the raffle box entry form.
Here’s what Novica has to say.
“We want to give artists and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents and to spur their creativity. And, we want to provide you with access to unique, hard-to-find items at great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow. In the spirit of the Internet, let us bring you together.”
