I came across the most amazing faux metal wall art at Suzy’s Artsy Crafty Sitcom. Of course, I had to try to make some. Here’s a shout out to Suzy because mine are in the trash.
If you want to give someone a plant as a gift, these would make nice gift tag holders. Just tie your gift tag to the plant stick or use them with herb plants to identify your herbs.
I’m glad I didn’t give up and throw everything in the trash. If you first do not succeed…

Those really look great! Thanks for linking!
ReplyDeleteI also saw Suzy's tutorial and couldn't believe the designs she made! Sorry yours didn't work out, but way to upcycle :)
ReplyDeleteI love this upcycle! Super cute idea. Let's face it I saw Suzy's work and I've come to the conclusion that she's super human! I'm doing something similar on my blog soon. 8)
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I am loving the hammered spray paint for these faux projects!

I think your plant stakes came out wonderfully! Not superhuman here...just ridiculously addicted to small details. My husband rolls his eyes and leaves me alone when I get all involved in a project.
ReplyDeleteI'm just so thrilled to see other folks trying it! It totally makes my day to know that my crazy ideas inspire!
