The countdown to Halloween has begun and everyone has been pulling out all the stops on costumes, décor, treats and more. What a fun time of year! Thank you to everyone that shared a project on the Inspiration Board this week and to all of you who came by to visit during the week. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy looking at all your creativity.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. I’ll see you next week – until then, here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

Dollar Store items are turned into Halloween Skull Candle Holders by
Oh My! Creative. A touch of glam and beautiful glow from the candles make these all the more fun.

Spooky, spooky, spooky. Edgar Allen Poe’s chilling tale The Raven comes to life in this literary print by
It’s Always Autumn.

A traditional favorite, candy apples are sweetened even more with cute striped paper straws by
Ode to Inspiration. Mmmmm – the combination of caramel and apple is hard to beat.

I love this altered bottle by
The Answer is Chocolate. Pretty embellishments, a glitter skull and a “skeleton” key turn an ordinary bottle into the prettiest toxic bottle I’ve ever seen.

This Mediterranean Chicken by
A Casarella seemed like it might be too complicated to make in my fast-paced house. But A Casarella starts with a store-bought rotisserie chicken (my kind of girl!) and pantry ingredients to create this exotic dish. This is on my list to try for sure.

So simple and beautiful. A fall leaf place card by
Creatively Living complete with the sentiment, “Be thankful for the little things in life”.
I love streusel. It’s such a yummy topping and
Nifty Thrifty Things shares a streusel plum cake that looks heavenly.

There’s no shortage of pumpkins this time of year and this shabby chic pumpkin by
Cupcakes and Crinoline stands out in the patch. Adorable ruffles, cinnamon sticks and fall foliage come together to create a delightful pumpkin.

Harry Potter characters that are almost too cute to eat.
Sugar Swings creates Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, Draco and more on top of Butterbeer Cupcakes. Wonderful.

All kids look cute in their Halloween costumes but oh-my-stars… this little lass in her Princess Merida costume is too cute for words. The costume is beautifully hand sewn by
Sew Can Do and the yarn mop hair is priceless.
