The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~72~

Happy Friday and welcome to the Inspiration Board Spotlight. If you linked up a project this week, thank you so much for sharing. We’re having a late blast of hot summer weather here in Southern California so I am especially enjoying all the Fall and Halloween projects that I’m seeing. I’m also filing away all the cold weather recipes that you shared and wishing for cool fall weather. I hope wherever you are you’re enjoying the season.

In the meantime, as I patiently wait for fall, here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

pincushionI love embroidery hoop projects and this embroidery hoop pin cushion by Yellow Spool is so pretty. What a great idea. You can hang it or lay it flat. Either way, it’s such a sweet place to house your pins.

0032What a great hanging herb garden by There was a Crooked House. An oversized frame houses all types of herbs ready to snip and use for whatever is on the menu.

DSCN5574Bright, colorful and cheerful. Ivaalex brings us this wonderful kids craft using large beads for the handle and bright paints to dress up a basket. Little hands will have fun stringing the beads and helping with the paint.

Pumpkin Seeds dustyJust in time for all the pumpkin seeds you want to save for next year. Family Home and Life is sharing printable seed packets. There are a variety of packets on her blog all ready to print out and store away or share.

Emmi-Swiss-Cheese-SliderSouthern Mom Cooks tempts us with these delicious looking Swiss Cheese Sliders. Oh my – that looks so good.

Ombre-Kitchen-Wall-ArtBeautiful ombre kitchen wall art by Design, Dining and Diapers. I’m partial to blue and these simple kitchen designs are also right up my alley. Yoo hoo Taryn, do you need my mailing address to send me a set?

DSC_0453Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm! I say it three times because this is called Triple Threat Chocolate Cheesecake. Mom on Timeout share this decadent recipe with us - Oreo cookie crust, chocolate cheescake filling and oh-what-the-heck chocolate ganache tops it all off.

cake ball mice 6These cake balls by Polish the Stars are so fun and original. Creepy lab mice just in time for Halloween. Kids would get such a kick out of popping white mice into their mouths...

IMG_3311Restoration House Interiors shows us this beautiful claw foot table that she painted in Miss Mustard Seed’s new milk paint. The color is Enamel Blue and it’s just gorgeous!

7Apprentice magic wands by Give Peas a Chance. Wait until you see how simple and genius these wands are to make. A few simple supplies; sticks, hot glue, paint and abracadabra… you have magic wands.
