Happy Friday everyone! It was quite a week here at homework and all across blogland. The first day of spring seems to have breathed new life into everyone’s creativity. I love all the bursts of color and pretty projects that are popping up everywhere. The Inspiration Board link party was no exception. There were so many fantastic projects – Easter goodies, crafts, décor, food and sweets. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity here.
In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I shared.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy these projects in the spotlight.

These lemon blueberry cheesecake bars from
Pink Recipe Box look heavenly. These may have to go on my Easter menu plan. Yum!

These Mr. & Mrs. crocheted bunnies are adorable. Hop on over to
The Lazy Hobbyhopper for the how-to and free pattern.

Did you celebrate Pi Day?
4You-With Love made a Pi Clock complete with hourly pies. The bottle caps are the perfect little pie crusts and each one is filled with a different type of pie. Fun!

Speaking of pie, these mini chicken pot pies by
Love Grows Wild look delicious. Baked perfectly golden brown in individual ramekins with the filling oozing over the sides. Yes please!
Closet Crafter made these darling bunny place cards with cutouts and chalkboard spray paint. Quick and easy but a great project that can be adapted for many uses.

Have you ever played Jenga? The tabletop game where you remove blocks from the stack and restack them on top?
Interiors by Kenz built a jumbo size version using 4x4’s. Super fun but I think those adorable dogs sense that it’s about to topple. Run doggies run!
I call this company dessert because it’s fancy, impressive and oh-so delicious. Carissa Miss whipped up a Blueberry Almond Pastry with dulce de leche and a meringue top – oh, and blueberries. Looks out of this world!

A great storage idea that’s easy, functional and looks great. Stained wood crates by
Decorating Cents. These would work in any room – kid’s storage, den, craft room. On my list: wood crates.

You’ve got to love a diy-er who buys a bassinet dresser purely for storage purposes.
Crystell Boutique saw the potential in this thrift store piece and gave it new life with pretty paint. Nine storage drawers for fabrics and sewing supplies and a fun bassinet for finished projects.

It’s springs…it’s strawberry season. Yay!
Sassy Pants Studios created this Strawberries and Cream Cheesecake that is so beautiful. Doesn’t it look like the perfect dessert to welcome spring?

Thank you again to everyone who linked a project and to everyone who came to visit. I loved looking at all the projects and visiting your sites.
Thanks so much for including my "chocolate" egg in your pinboard. What amazing features!
ReplyDeleteI like the 'Butterfly Feeder Jar' and 'Pi Clock' (I always have time for pie! Nom >.<)... Oh, and I do have giant Jenga! Super fun until you get smooshed under it (in my case)!
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate egg looks lush :)

What a cool idea to use wooden crates for storage, where I work there are heaps of these things just lying around. I can think of plenty of places where they’ll fit in the house, and I actually like them as they – rustic and simple. I’ll just give them a quick sand to remove any splinters or might even paint up a few with bright colours for the spare room.
