The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~143~

Happy last day of February everyone. This month flew by like crazy. I hope wherever you are, the snow is melting and you’re starting to see signs of spring. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by this week to visit, comment or share. Every day you all make me smile. If you didn’t get a chance to pop by, here’s what I shared this week.

Now for the projects in the spotlight this week.

smile 4Simple Albany shares a sweet embroidery hoop with simple but striking stitched art. I’m thinking an entire gallery wall of these would be amazing.

DSC05147Doesn’t this Indian Spiced Quinoa Salad from Stumbling Upon Happiness look amazing. I love Indian food and this combination of quinoa with all those wonderful spices is making me hungry.

Felt Succulents 2The Pin Junkie created these cute felt succulents that look amazingly real. Now you’ll never have to worry about watering or killing your plants.

Lilas 5thI haven’t seen the move Frozen but I hear it’s great. This Frozen theme birthday cake by Mommy in Sports so “cool”.

IMG_1878_hf_hfGorgeous spiral bangle bracelet by Moois Van Mie. The raspberry pink and lemon yellow seed beads are perfect for spring.

Quiche2Yummy Phyllo Basket Quiche by My Farm Life Diary. I love quiche and bite sized food and these look so delicious. And I drooling over that beautiful platter.

sharpiepig11DIY Beautify shows us how to create a vintage graphic with a Sharpie. With a steady hand and a Sharpie it’s amazing what you can create.

lotus-chips-on-parchmentI love sharing new and interesting food. These Lotus Root Chips by Army Wife to Suburban Life look so good. The natural floral shape makes them extra fun.

SAM_2305An amazing chair makeover by Home Heart and Hands. This chair had seen better days but with paint, beautiful fabric and nail heads (plus a lot of hard work), it is gorgeous.

beach5Inspiring photography by Mila’s Little Things. This stunning shot is on the beach in Scotland. I could stare at it for hours.

  2. Hi Carolyn. Thank you for featuring my phyllo basket quiches. If you're ever in SA you'll have to pop in for a cup of tea and slice of something freshly baked and take a look at the beautiful collection of platters and china my mum has collected over the years.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
Big hugs from sunny South Africa
