UPCYCLING: Light Fixture Night Light

Recycled Light Fixture Nightlight via homework (5)I’ve been hanging on to this ceiling fan light fixture for the longest time. It was going to be turned into a planter but one day I accidentally turned it over and set it on top of a jar and a mushroom was born.

Recycled Light Fixture Nightlight via homework (1)I then planned to use a strand of LED lights inside the light fixture but found an even better solution. The fixture fit perfectly on top of an LED battery operated candle.

Recycled Light Fixture Nightlight via homework (1)This was such a quick and easy project. A few dots painted with red glass paint turned the light fixture into a cute mushroom top. I secured it to the flameless LED candle with some glue and added a little lady bug for good measure.

Recycled Light Fixture Nightlight via homework (8)All you have to do is turn on the little switch on the bottom of the candle and you have an cute new night light for your kid’s room.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
