Extra Credit: get organized with Rubbermaid®

This post brought to you by Rubbermaid® All AccessTM Organizers. All opinions are 100% mine.

Crafty StorageOver the past few years, I’ve made several storage bins and posted about them. I love to get organized and making little storage bins is a great way to keep clutter at a minimum. I made an E-waste bin to hold dead batteries and other E-Waster until they can be properly disposed of. A pretty blue string box holds craft supplies that I’m currently using. Gift cards are stored in a small paper covered file box and my first roadside rescue displays Washi Tape and craft paint.

Rolodex 6_thumb[2]Another box decorated with scrapbook supplies holds blog contact information.
Storage JarsI’ve also made some storage jars to keep beads, ribbon, buttons and other keepsake items, like pretty shells.

But not everything can be displayed in little boxes and jars. In order to minimize clutter I need to stay on top of things or the clutter of everyday life can quickly get out of hand. I try to keep things orderly but sometimes before I know it, boxes are piled on top of each other. Like in our garage… or attic. The garage is especially challenging. In order to get to the Christmas boxes or other seasonal items, all the boxes must come down which requires a ladder. Sometimes I only want one little thing. You may be familiar with the conversation. Something like… “honey, I need a few pinecones out of the box labeled ‘winter craft supplies’ in the garage”. And then, you probably don’t want to hear the response…

Rubbermaid
I’ve found the answer to my stacked storage box problem. Rubbermaid® All AccessTM storage containers. These stacking containers have a drop-down door so you can access items even when the containers are stacked. The doors are clear so you can see what is inside. Perfect – I wouldn’t even have to ask “honey” to get me those pinecones. I could just open the little door and grab what I need.
The containers come in a variety of colors – sweet! Perfect for playrooms, laundry rooms, toys, closets and my garage.

You can find Rubbermaid® All AccessTM storage containers at Walmart stores across the country.
