Inkling: business cards

When I had my business cards printed, I didn’t have an Etsy shop and so my box of 500 business cards only includes my blog and email address.

Photo courtesy of Food Wine and Mod Podge
I saw these diy recycled business cards at Food Wine and Mod Podge and loved them. Covering up the old information with felt and stamping new information on the blank side is brilliant.
My business cards were still correct. I just wanted to add my Etsy shop information. I used the idea of a felt-backed card and printed out addendum business cards.

Now I have two business cards that can be combined or used separately.

My blog colors are blue and beige so I made some cards backed with blue felt and some with beige cotton that I fringed. To combine the cards, I used a micro punch and tied together with coordinating cotton twine.

The combined cards are perfect to add to outgoing shop items.
Thank you for the inspiration Food Wine and Mod Podge.  I’m so happy with my new business cards.

  18. I went to China last year n saw some clear plastic (high quality) cards for 5 cents each! Instead, incredibly cheap, but I never received because I did not have a copy of the design with me. I do not really have a budget, but I def. do not think paying a few hundred dollars to print some custom business cards are worth the price. Thank you very much for the info, I just want an idea of where to obtain them.
