Here’s a quick and easy way to add a splash of color and dress up your table.
These pearl blue napkin rings even add a touch of shimmer to everyday white dinnerware and will work in any season.
To make these napkin rings, you’ll need:
- White cardstock
- Martha Stewart Pearl Craft Paint: Color - Jet Stream
- Martha Stewart Metallic Craft Paint: Color – Sterling
- 1/2 inch organdy ribbon: light blue
- Jolee’s Jewels Hotfix Crystal Tool or craft glue
- Jolee’s Crystallized Swarovski Element
- 1st layer: cut a piece of white cardstock approximately 2” x 6” and paint with Pearl Jet Stream. Let dry and roll into a tube. Secure with a piece of clear tape on the inside.
- 2nd layer: cut a piece of white cardstock approximately 1-1/2” x 6”. Roll this layer around the blue layer and secure with tape.
- 3rd layer: wrap a piece of the organdy ribbon around the napkin ring and secure with glue or double side tape.
- Add a Crystallized Element to the ribbon or paint an embellishment to the white layer with Metallic Sterling paint.
Crisp white linen napkins and shiny silverware add the finishing touches.
