Wow you all have been busy. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful projects on the Inspiration Board this week. All the home and furniture renovations are inspiring me to get up from my crafting table and start tackling larger projects. Plus there are so many new recipes to try and gardening tips and tricks I want to try. Thank you all for inspiring me. I hope those of you who stopped by were equally inspired.
Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.
I’m always on the hunt for a new cupcake. Todd & Lyndsey made these range Creamsicle Cupcakes for her students and they loved them.
What do you do when you find fantastic vintage drawers without the original table? Life on Walnut Street built this table to house the vintage drawers. A great find and great table.
Handmade silverware handles by Accidently Wonderful. These were a Mother’s Day gift and I’m sure these unique utensils will be treasured and passed down.
By the Way Jenn Gray adds a touch of yellow to this lamp and it gives the all white lamp such a cheery pop of sunshine.
I love this sunburst mirror by Decorating Cents. Total cost – $4.00. The sunburst is made from paint sticks {free!} and the finished mirror looks like one you would see in a pricey store.
This guest room is so serene and peaceful. I just want to lay on that bed and take a nap! A beautiful guest room reveal complete with gray and white striped walls by Live Love DIY.
Homemade strawberry sorbet by The Real Thing. The best part – the family first went strawberry picking and then made the sorbet. What a great family activity with a special treat to cap off the day!
I’m loving all the paint dipped projects popping up lately. These wooden spoons by Small Home Love are so bright and fun. A great way to give your kitchen a splash of color.
Adventures of a DIY Mom gave a yard sale dresser a whole new look. But instead of white on white, she decided to paint the drawers pink for her little girl’s room. The dresser is so perfectly girly and definitely pretty in pink.
Vanessa at Nifty Thrifty Things does it again. Her crafts are always darling and these diy fabric tapes are no exception. Vanessa also has such a great eye for prop styling and her photography is always beautiful. Yes, I’m a big fan of Nifty Thrifty Things!

{Giveaway }
On Wednesday, I reviewed and posted about Martha Stewart's new product - crafter's clay. I had wanted to do a giveaway but the demand for the product was so high that I didn't receive the additional kit to use for a giveaway. That's how wonderful this product is. And then, a second package arrived. Yippee! I now have a starter kit to share with one of you.
Here’s how you can win one – for each entry leave me a
separate comment.
- Follow my blog {homework} via Google Friend Connect – the gadget is on the right sidebar and leave me a comment letting me know you're a follower.
- Tweet about this contest and leave me a comment letting me know about your tweet.
Contest Rules:
- This contest will run from Friday, May 18th, 2012 1:00 a.m. PST until Friday, May 25th, 2012 6:00 p.m. PST.
- One winner will be drawn from the comments using a random number generator.
- To be eligible, anonymous and no-reply entries must leave an email address so that I can contact you.
- Only open to U.S. shipping addresses - thanks for understanding.
Thank you again to EK Success for providing the giveaway prize.
Good Luck!
Carolyn
