Today is the last Friday of September and fall is officially here. As we pack away the beachy décor, shells, nautical, pretty pastels and white and wave goodbye to summer we can enjoy these beautiful projects in the spotlight this week.

It’s no secret that I love twigs and branches. Marty’s Musings ushers in fall with a fantastic branch candle centerpiece. Berries, pumpkins and pinecones complete the table centerpiece.

What a fun fall mudroom by Creek Line House. I love the casual cornstalks and hanging lights. And of course the apple cider chalkboard. Even if you don’t have a mudroom, you could decorate you front porch with all these pretty ideas.

I love biscuits. Imprintalish teases us with these Fluffy Snowflake Biscuits that look heavenly. With cool evenings heading our way, biscuits will be the perfect side dish for all those fall dishes. Head over and grab the recipe.

Speaking of fall dishes, nothing says fall like a hearty bowl of soup – and better yet, butternut squash soup. Cranberry Morning shows us how to make Roasted Butternut Squash Soup – another one of my favorites.

What a fun party idea. A classic art party. One Thrifty Chick created a colorful arts and crafts 6th birthday party, complete with crayons, crafts and bright colors. Click over to see all the great details and ideas.

An elegant fall tablescape by Creatively Living. I love the balance of dark and light colors. My favorite – the feathers and the comment by her family that there was too much stuff on the table. That’s what my family always says about my tablescapes. They just don’t get it…

One of my all time favorite pallet projects. Pieces to Treasure made a wall coat hanger out of a pallet with genius shelving storage. The piece is so nicely finished with stain and wax. Fantastic.

An amazing wedding dress transformation by Yellow Spool. From a short summery lace dress to a beautiful wedding gown. Coordinating fabric and clever alterations take a discount store dress to a bride’s dream gown.

A pretty glittery pumpkin by Life on Lakeshore Drive. Rhinestone decals make this pumpkin transformation even easier. So pretty and it reminds me of Cinderella’s carriage.

Okay this is definitely in the Wow category. Hand built bookshelves beautifully finished and decorated by Buhay at Bahay. And so many pretty knick knacks and goodies on all the shelves. Just amazing!
