  2. This is such an unbelievably cute Idea!
My first niece(or nephew) will be born in January. I would love to fill the capsule with mementos from the birth (a new paper clipping from the day of the birth, a print out of the parent's Facebook post announcing the baby, the first photos, etc)then stow it away in my work space for a year collecting things. On baby's first birthday, I would give it to the proud parents.

  3. I love the Smash Book products but haven't been able to get many yet--just a couple of things on sale at my local Target. I'd love to win and get my journaling on in the coming year. Fingers crossed!

  5. We've currently got a time capsule hidden in our basement.

  6. I would hide mine up at my parent's under some of the rocks. There's some 'nooks' I used to hide rocks and such when I was kid around there.

  7. I created my own smash book with an old notebook I had and I have a great time keeping random things I find to add to it. They're super fun...I wish I had a mini one to keep in my purse!

  8. What fun! I would hide my time capsule way back in the closet. This way it's out of touch, but still accessible when it's time to open it up. Thank you!

  10. time capsules are so awesome! My husband and I have a three month old baby girl and just put in an offer for our first home (today!). It would be so cool to bury a time capsule in our new back yard for our daughter to dig up in 20 years or so.

  12. Those time capsules are fantastic! My college friends have a bunch of kids around the same age and it would be fun to get together, fill them up (maybe one for the kids and one for the adults) and tuck them away somewhere (I think we'd bury them in the backyard of one of the families). Then, when we're older and grayer (the adults), we could all get together and open them up!

  13. I would put all the pictures and trinkets of what I do with my family in them.

  14. I would put a few sewing projects in there, some photos, and I would hide it in a piece of luggage I never use. I'm nomadic, so I can't bury mine anywhere.

  21. I think if I made a time capsule, I might want to display it up high, perhaps above a kitchen cabinet - out of reach, yet visible! :)

  22. Thanks for the giveaway-I have been eyeing the smash products!

  23. How fun! I think I would put it in the kids "strong" boxes. The boxes where I keep all their artwork, report cards etc for them to have when they are older. They don't get to go through it so I think them opening them when they are older will be a lot of fun.
