The weather is cooling, school has started and the holidays are around the corner. You know what that means… the family schedule is starting to get jam packed and there’s even less time in the day for busy moms.
When things get super busy, my go-to lunches are these little frozen meals. They’re quick and easy and get me through the day until I can make dinner for the family. I recently tried Michelina’s Beef & Peppers and it was quite tasty.
As I often do with these frozen meals, I added a little something extra. Since the Beef & Peppers comes with an Asian sauce and is served with rice, I also added some sesame noodles on the side. I make up a big batch ahead of time and just heat up a little portion.
The recipe is from The Pioneer Woman and it’s easy and delicious. You can use pasta noodles or Asian noodles if you can find them at your grocery store. I used chow mein noodles pictured above. Here’s the recipe if you want to try these tasty noodles.
Ingredients
Preparation Instructions
- 12 ounces, fluid Thin Noodles, Cooked And Drained
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce

- 4 Tablespoons Canola Oil

Whisk all ingredients (except noodles and green onions) together in a bowl. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
Pour sauce over warm noodles and toss to coat. Sprinkle with green onions and toss.
