CELEBRATIONS: Brown Paper Packages Advent

Brown Paper Packages Advent via homework | carolynshomework.comPhew… I barely finished this year’s Advent Countdown in time. We’re on day 2 so I probably should have had this all done a week ago. But a week ago I was thinking about turkey and stuffing. With not much time, I went with a simple concept this year inspired by the classic lyrics “brown paper packages tied up with string…”

  3. This makes me so giddy. I LOVE the look of brown wrapping with simple string. I LOVE advent calendars. And I LOVE wrapping presents!! Who would I give all these to? I have a husband and a 5.5-month-old. Maybe next year, I'll do this for my little man! My husband might appreciate it, but since he's in charge of the money, he would totally notice that I spent a bunch at CVS, and he would be like, "Why'd you spend all that money on gum and gift cards, for me?" Basically, I'd be spending HIS money to get HIM things that he doesn't really want! HAHA... but next year! For the baby, he'll totally go for it and help me pick stuff out. :)

    Great pics!

  7. I love this idea! An advent calendar was one of the highlights of Christmas when I was a child. Wish I had a little one to do this with this year.
