The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~132~

Happy Friday the 13th friends. I’m not superstitious so I’m just going to ignore the fact that it’s Friday the 13th. In fact, I don’t even know why I’m talking about. How about just, Happy Friday Friends! That’s better.

Thank you to everyone who came by and left a comment, visited or shared a project this week. Seriously, the Inspiration Board was breathtaking. I’m blown away by your talent and creativity. And I have to say, I’m very jealous of all the beautiful holiday décor. I’m still not quite there but I’m determined to make this house merry and bright. If you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here is what I shared.

Now on to the projects featured this week.

spiced-plum-and-mango-chutneyLook at the deep, rich color of this Spiced Plum and Mango Chutney by Pink Recipe Box. I love homemade preserves and this is definitely going in my recipe box.

toy Christmas tree 11This Toy Christmas Tree by Meeha Meeha is absolutely charming. What a fun way to display little trinkets and create a very merry wall.

DSCF3798These Upcycled Sweater Stockings by We are far from Normal are so cozy looking. What a great use of an old sweater and I love how the buttons work so perfectly on the stockings.

Photo Dec 7, 2013, 9-48 PMI featured a few Anthropologie-inspired wreaths last week and I just can’t get enough of these fluffy, fun creations. This beauty is by The Style Sisters. Love it!

102_9562-749x1024 (1)Savings 4 Six converted a closet into an office and it’s the perfect tucked in workspace. The under-the-cabinet lights are a great touch and I love those drawer handles.

Mini-gingerbread-cookies-on-mugs-Christmas-cookie Darling Gingerbread Houses created to perch on the side of a mug by Hungry Happenings. Can you imagine being served a cup of hot cocoa with such a fabulous treat.

Bucket Hat 6The Philosopher’s Wife shares the cutest reversible bucket hat. Wonderful contrasting fabrics make this all the more fun.

IMG_8784_zpsb5ed99f3A stunning lamp makeover by Two It Yourself. The lamp in it’s original thrift store state needed some TLC and what a fantastic job they did.

Christmas Mistletoe Chalkboard ArtThe Concrete Cottage shares Christmas at the Cottage and it’s wonderful. My favorite part is this chalkboard sign complete with evergreen and mistletoe.

Look at all of them smiling at us! Adorable Russian Dolls by Leopard and Plaid. Think fabric stash and homemade gifts. So precious!

rosemary-closeI’m always drawn to beautiful, simple things and this Mini Wreath Gift Tag by Keeping Change is right up my alley. A simple sprig of Rosemary and hand written message makes a big impact.

bark3Hello Pistachio, Coconut and Cranberry Bark. Where have you been all my life? I Heart Hands On shares this recipe which I will make and eat guilt free due to the fact that is has super healthy bits like pistachios and cranberry on it.

SL273597This Golden Wood Nymph Hair Wreath is absolute perfection. Natural, delicate and extra special painted gold. It conjures up images of fairies and goddesses and all those good things. Beautifully created by One Perfect Day.

  12. Obviously, it's an 'honour' and not an 'homour' at all, to be amongst all this wonderful creativity.....
