I made a pretty binder to organize some of my recipes. These are the recipes that I tear out of magazines or printed out years ago. I’ve always had them in a binder but it was a disorganized mess.
Here’s the inspiration for the project. I got this super fun Tab Punch and these Tab Stickers from We R Memory Keepers. I have a feeling I’m going to be creating a lot of tabs. It’s so fun. Punch, punch, punch – instant tabs.
Once the tabs are punched, use a tab sticker to adhere it to a divider. The stickers reinforce the tabs and provide a clear cover. It’s organizing heaven!
I used chalkboard paper for the tabs and used another piece of chalkboard paper for the inside first page.
The binder is covered with a vintage towel. To see how I covered the binder, you can check out my previous tutorials: Idea Binder, T-Shirt Binder & Covered Cookbook.
And here it is on my shelf - all covered and ready to use in this new year. One small organization step for me with a lot of giant leaps to go.
Thanks for visiting.
Perfect! Thanks for this idea Carolyn, I need to organize my recipes too! Love the fabric covered binder you have! Always covered mine in Gift wrap but I think Fabric is better! Will have to do this soon and I also love the TAB punch, have to grab mine now!
