Last month, I learned how to use the die-cutting tool and made these cute wood veneer labels. You can read about it here.
Today I’m sharing these pretty blind embossed Valentine Cards. I’ve long been a huge fan of blind embossing. It’s the process of creating a raised surface on paper with no ink. In the printing world, embossing can be costly. You may have seen beautiful business cards with a logo embossed or a monogram on stationery that was embossed.
With the Lifestyle Crafts tools you can create your embossed projects with beautiful results. For this project, I used the Bloom embossing folders.
I used plain white cardstock and also some heavier water color paper. You simply insert the paper into the plastic embossing folder and roll it through the Lifestyle Craft machine. Super easy!
On each card I added unique embellishments using my stash of scrapbook paper and ribbon.
I honestly don’t have a favorite – it was fun coming up with different looks for each card.
This mini pompom trim is perfect for Valentine’s Day.
I thought this idea from Lifestyle Crafts to emboss napkins was such a clever idea. You can learn more about these fun tools and products on Lifestyle Crafts Facebook page or the We R Memory Keepers Facebook page. Or for more for more detailed instructions on embossing, you can watch this instructional video.
Just for fun – I just had to show you this photo of my dog Sammy. She was absolutely fascinated with the Lifestyle Craft Evolution machine. I was working on the floor and she intently watched the entire process.
Great post.
