Good Taste: baked ravioli with pesto dipping sauce

Today I’m sharing with you Baked Ravioli with Pesto Dipping Sauce. Doesn’t it look fancy? Here’s my secret – it was super easy to make.

And it tasted fantastic! My family loved them – although my teenage son requested that next time I include marinara dipping sauce. He’d probably also prefer a less fancy presentation and that will be no problem. These were so easy to make, I can whip them up for game day or dress them up for nicer gatherings.

Blog Toasted Ravioli ShopIn order to prepare this dish, I headed out to gather the ingredients. Fortunately for me, there’s a Smart & Final really close by. My son came with me because he needed a homework break. Any excuse to get out of homework…

You can see the rest of our shopping adventure here.

We found what we needed. Just a few simple ingredients all by the trusted La Romanella brand.

Once we were home, I gathered a few more simple ingredients from my kitchen and I was ready to make Baked Ravioli with Pesto Dipping Sauce.

Here’s the recipe. It couldn’t be easier.

I loved the La Romanella pesto dipping sauce. It made this appetizer extra special. But as I said above, you can dress these way down and serve them up for casual gathering or even for game day. Throw a bunch in a basket hot from the oven and set out a bowl of marinara sauce and you’ll be all set.

Another reason I made these Baked Raviolis was because I’m participating in a progressive dinner linky and I was assigned an appetizer. The other hostesses are making an additional appetizer, entrees and a dessert. Fun! Here's the entire meal.

I hope you enjoyed my appetizer. Thanks for visiting.

  3. This really does look good-- I love parmesean cheese and this looks pretty.. my kids would probably destroy the presentation and want marinara too. Great job!
