The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~87~

It’s Friday {TGIF}! Welcome to the Inspiration Board Spotlight. A big thank you to everyone who came by and shared their wonderful creativity on the Inspiration Board this week. I’m always amazed by your talent.

Today is the first day of February which means… spring is just around the corner. I’m excited, I’m a little tired of being cold and shivery. The older I get, the more I understand why the elderly live in Florida and love afghans.

And, in case you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here’s what I was shared.

Features 87 My Projects

Here are the projects in the spotlight this week. Enjoy the weekend – here in the U.S. there’s a little football game going on this weekend.

DSCF1956I love this owl pillow by Just Another Hang Up. Inspired by a pin she hand painted this little owl on muslin and kicks it up a notch with the fun pom pom trim.

Valentine-Candy-Wrappers-2Such a fun and simple way to add a theme to bagged candy by A Pumpkin & a Princess. Replace the wrapper with a strip of pretty paper. The best part – if you’ve been procrastinating about Valentine treat giveaways, you could do this up until the night before.

P1030129All that Brings Joy transformed her basement stairs from old and rickety to new and fabulous. A pretty accent color and the fun numbered stairs make heading to the basement a joy.

Faux Chalkboard Tags for Toy Bins 12Love Grows Wild topped off her fantastic toy storage unit with these fun faux chalkboard medallion labels. It’s always such a great feeling to get things organized and labeled. I really need to hop on that train.

bw1I’m really into feathers lately so this bubble burlap wreath with pretty peacock feathers was screaming my name! Glamorous Bride shows us how to reuse the same wreath and just change out the accessory.

Vintage-Window-with-Wreath-for-Valentines-AnExtraordinaryDay.net_1Valentine décor on a vintage window by An Extraordinary Day. This is just so stunning. The cream and neutral wreath and pops of red hearts are just enough to still let the vintage window shine through.

IMG_2954Genius! Moose Mouse Creations serves up little kid snacks in non sugar ice cream cones. An edible snack bowl, no dishes and happy kids. Genius!

marshmallow cupid arrow valentine7It just doesn’t get much cuter than these fantastic Cupid’s Arrow Marshmallow treats by Rook No. 17. Marshmallows dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with edible gold luster dust. Oh my!

IMG_5302bAn adorable first birthday party for a lucky little girl by So Much Better with Age. Lots of sweet ideas to make a celebration even more memorable.

IMG_5038Reposhture created this wonderful door knob posie from drop cloth fabric. There’s no end to what you can do with a drop cloth. The bonus… you have to click over to her blog to see what she used to dye the fabric and achieve that beautiful shade of blush.
