The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~89~

Happy Friday everyone! Did you survive the day of love? Some people love Valentine’s Day and some people don’t. I like to keep things low key around here. A special home cooked dinner, dessert and family. No matter how you spent your Valentine’s Day, I hope it was filled with the most important thing… love!

Now on to the features. The Inspiration Board was brimming with Valentine ideas. Tons of inspiration to file and pin for next year. There were also plenty of home décor, recipe, and craft ideas. If you linked up a project, thank you for sharing your creativity.

Here are the projects in the spotlight this week.

900086486fcf11e2962a22000a1f930e_7An ottoman from a church rummage sale gets an amazing new life as a one-of-a-kind décor piece. Hand painted with Sharpies and craft paint, Annumography transformed the plain piece with a fantastic tribal motif.

blkfrcocoa4border2Mmmmm. Black forest hot cocoa. Doesn’t that sound delicious. The Seven Year Cottage shares the recipe and this wonderful photo that has me craving a mug of this rich cocoa.

Jello Mold Nest1LYes, it’s that time. Time to think about spring. Artsy Vava got an early start to nesting with these jello mold nests and robin’s eggs.

seductive tables table viewpoint with ocean 2wmI think 504 Main has everyone green with envy with her Beach Picnic for Two. That beach spot is amazing. Even if you don’t live by the beach, this delicious picnic would be wonderful in any picnic setting.

IMG_7988Fantastic kitchen renovation shared by Brooklyn Berry Designs. I love clean white and uncluttered, roomy feel.

138What a great repurpose from Organic Aspirations. Turn old t-shirts into reusable shopping bags. It’s so clever, you just sew up the bottom of the t-shirt and cut off the sleeves and voila… a shopping bag.

Max's Fishy Party 3A darling Fish Party by Max and Me. How cute are these fishing pole cupcakes? Click over to see all the other party details that are just as wonderful.

paarse_poef_0513.jpg.scaled1000Another fabulous crochet project by Elisabeth Andree. A giant pouf in sweet purples and pinks. Just beautiful!

churro crisps main blogValentine’s Day is over but these Churro Crisps by Shaken Together can be made for any occasion in various shapes. Baked tortillas, sugar and cinnamon… oh and hot fudge. Yum!

lucy-rose-patternCherished Bliss sadly is closing her Etsy Shop but wait for it… her patterns are now available for free. This Vintage Inspired Baby Headband is just darling. Click over for the pattern.
